TWINNING & QUADDING

When your requirements call for twisted pairs or quadding, the TWD101 and TD-1930 will perform jobs quickly and quietly with minimal operator experience required. The cradle with tension brakes will support 1, 2, 3, or 4 reels. The on board capstan pulls the wire at a constant speed to insure the proper lay length, and the tension take-up drive will wind and traverse wire on reels up to 24" OD at speeds up to 200 FPM. Optional PLC Touch-screen controls offer extremely accurate lay length control.

HOT STAMP RESPOOLER

If you need to respool hot stamped material this is the machine. Standard units include a powered payoff and powered takeup both dancer controlled and synchronized to the marking machine's stopping, stamping and starting. The takeup has an adjustable pitch traverse to levelwind the wire on the takeup spool and the cabinet has storage drawers for foils, tools and fixtures, a work surface and digitally programmable controller, indicator lights, fuses and switches conveniently located to maximize the interface with the operator.

ROTATING PAYOFF

The "RPO" series rotating cradle style payoffs are designed to neutralize back twisting in cabling lines.

These systems work in conjunction with downstream pulling equipment such as a rotating caterpillar capstan. Units are equipped with manual shaftless pintle housings and reel loading is accomplished via customers over head or jib crane. Reel tensioning is maintained by manual caliper and disc brakes with electromagnetic offered as an option. The cradle is equipped with a pneumatic "holding" and stopping brake. AC Vector drive provides rotation to the cradle (left hand and right hand lay) and precise coordination is maintained via PLC and touchscreen operator interface. The control package may coordinate multiple payoffs with the cabling line's main pulling device.

1-10,000 lb. systems are available with reel size ranging from 30" through 120" diameter.
