GANTRY STYLE SHAFTLESS TAKE-UPS & PAYOFFS

Tulsa Power's Traversing Frame Take-ups and Payoffs are some of the most advanced on the market today. Available features include center drive or tire (rim) drive, digital touchscreen automatic traversing, Vector drives, PLC controlled auto diameter/width loading, and closed loop tension controls. Traversing frame units offer unlimited lateral movement for reel handling. The units traverse the entire reel in front of the line, creating an optimum layer wound package. Mechanical and Optical Zero Fleeting Angle control payoffs are also available. Traversing frame or Portal take-ups and payoffs are available for reels ranging from 1,000 lbs (454 kg) with 48 in (1.2m) flange diameters to over 100,000 lbs (45,500 kg) with 180 in (4.6m) flange diameters and widths up to 220 in(5.6m). DUAL REEL AUTOMATIC CHANGE-OVER TAKE-UPS

Tulsa Power, Inc’s new line of Automatic Dual Reel Take-Up systems offers high speed material processing and durability for long operational life. Each system is equipped with shaft-less reel handling capabilities and can be outfitted with hydraulic reel lift tables accommodating a variety of reel flange diameters. The parallel axis design allows for reliable automatic switch over. Both reel positions share a heavy duty dual axis linear style traversing assembly providing for superior level wind capabilities. The entire system is controlled by operator touch screen interface allowing input of material diameters, reel widths, traverse dwell and automatic home settings.

Tulsa Power's Pintle Arm (Cantilevered) Shaftless Take-ups and Payoffs are built tough, for years of trouble-free material processing. Standard sizes are available for reels from 28 in(711mm) to 144in (3.7m) diameter and up to 40,000 lbs(18,000kg). Hydraulic and electromechanical reel handling are available. Available features include digital touchscreen automatic traverses, rolling ring traverses, Vector drives, hydraulic drives, transmissions, and closed loop tension controls.
