DUAL REEL TAKE-UP REFURBISHMENT

Taking advantage of our expertise in take-ups, Tulsa Power offers complete refurbishment of dual reel automatic switchover take-ups. Standard refurbishments include several updated safety features and an advanced control system.

Safety features include an innovative manual crank or pushbutton powered reel unload device to assist with loading and unloading the reels. The device is designed to take the load off the operators back when removing jammed shafts.

In addition, complete guarding of the unit and rotating reels is offered for operator protection. The guard includes windows for viewing the operation and pushbutton access doors.

The control system is completely updated for optimum reliability and performance, offering high performance traverse and reel drive systems for superior material levelwind and process controls. The touchscreen operator interface offers simple to understand graphical presentation with near infinite traverse control parameters.
