Description
Upender units are the safe answer to changing the position of reels, coils, drums or holding cartons of almost any variety. Expensive materials and reusable containers may become damaged during handling in shipping, processing or warehousing. With the Up Ender, materials are easily protected and reversed in position by the touch of a button. A wide variety of designs and capacities are available. Technical Specs
- Manufactured of welded heavy wall mechanical tubing and structural steel main frame construction
- Bolt down securing floor flanges located on the inside of the frame structure for pit type or floor mounting
- The reels to rest on two (2) heavy cross beams spaced evenly apart for forklift access
- Certain systems are equipped with an air/oil hydraulic pump
- Some systems are equipped with a 3 or 7 1/2 HP, 230V, 3Ø electric motor which powers a fixed volume hydraulic pump
- The hydraulic system directs hydraulic fluid to hydraulic cylinders that will change reel positions 90° in approximately 13 seconds
- The operator switch controls, hydraulic power pack and drive motor will all be conveniently located in a steel frame, sheet metal enclosed console style housing
- Optional remote hand held pendant type control with 25' of cord
- Optional tread plate with V-groove to roll reel onto upender
