Description
Name your application and Tulsa Power can build the coiler. Coilers have been built for tube coils weighing just ounces to rod and metal strip coils weighing 5,000 lbs. They are also built for offline rewind and continuous process applications. Units may be provided with optional rolling ring or digital traverse plus a control package made specifically for you. - Rigid all steel welded structural base frame
- Heavy gauge sheet metal exterior with hinged access cover
- Fixed internal cold roll steel shaft chain driven and rides in heavy duty industrial pillow block bearings
- Pneumatic actuated caliper/disc brake to stop and hold coiling head in position for binding and to prevent spring back
- Mobile Options: Frame mounted on two (2) fixed and two (2) pivot caster wheels for mobility within the plant. Forklift pockets provide access from four (4) sides of the coiler.
- Coiling head ID is manually adjustable via hand wheel adjustment throughout its range
- Three (3) radiused coil ID plates
- Pivotable head from vertical to horitzontal configuration for unloading of coiled hose product
- Rotation from vertical to horizontal configuration by AC gear motor
